3 UFOs reportedly flash through sky, land in NE China

THREE unidentified flying objects landed in villages early this morning in northeastern China’s Heilongjiang Province, prompting an investigation, China News Service reported.

The incident took place around 6am today when the metal, ball-shaped objects landed in villages in two counties administered by the city of Qiqihar, local government officials told the news agency.

Some villagers were reported to have seen a "fireball" flashing through the sky and crashing to the ground. They later found one of these objects had landed in a vegetable plot.

A photo, reportedly taken by a villager, showed the spherical object with a sawtooth structure encircling it. The other two objects that landed in another county were reported to appear similar.

Authorities were reported to have cordoned off the sites for probes.
