11 mainland tourists hurt in Taiwan bus crash
ELEVEN tourists from China's mainland were injured in Taiwan along with their driver when a tourist bus crashed into a roadside power transformer in the rain at about 11am today, China News Service reported.
All 12 were slightly injured and transported to a hospital.
Roads were slippery when the crash took place as the bus was heading for Hualien in eastern Taiwan after leaving Taitung city.
The tour group was reported to be from Anhui Province. The travel company picked up uninjured passengers by bus to continue their trip to Hualien.
