Munich police report false alarm in shopping center, train station

MUNICH police said on early Saturday evening that the shopping center and train station, temporarily closed due to bomb alarm, have been reopened, because the alarm is false.

Munich police reported initially that they had to evacuate a shopping center and a train station after a "bomb threat."

A police spokesperson told local media that they received a phone call at around 17:30 local time, saying that an offender could set off a bomb in the shopping center.

Security situation becomes tense since last weeks due to attacks in Bavaria. Local police warned some people not to play ridiculous jokes.
