Policeman Holds Infusion Bottle for Injured Woman for 20 Minutes
Recent photos of a policeman holding up an infusion bottle in the rain for a wounded woman were widely tweeted on social media.
According to media reports, a traffic accident happened in Zhenjiang, Jiangsu Province, at noon on February 3.
The policeman, Wu Yimin, arrived at the scene immediately after the report.
While there were two people injured in the accident, the ambulance can only take one to the hospital once, which means the other wounded woman had to wait for another ambulance.
To ease her pain, medical staff decided to treat her with infusion. However, no infusion rod was available at the time.
Without any hesitation, Wu offered to hold the infusion bottle for the woman until another ambulance arrived 20 minutes later. During the time, he also managed to handle the traffic order at the scene.
Seeing these photos, netizens got deeply moved and highly applauded Wu for his heart-warming behavior.
