Canada joins the 2009 education tour

CANADA will be a key participant in the 14th China International Education Exhibition Tour, the Embassy of Canada in Beijing announced.

Canada will be represented by 56 educational institutions offering opportunities at every level of study. Students and parents who visit the tour will have the opportunity to meet representatives from Canadian universities, colleges, elementary and secondary institutions.

This year's CIEET welcomes a Team British Columbia delegation, representing 24 school boards, colleges, and universities from across the province of British Columbia. Further information regarding Team BC can be found at: www.bccie.com.

A Study in Canada information session will provide valuable information on issues related to Canada as a study destination, visas, study permits and work while studying in Canada.

Canadian education offers students a consistently high standard of academic excellence across institutions, thousands of programs at all levels and in all disciplines, internationally recognized credentials and accessible, student-centered classroom environments. Students have the opportunity to learn in a country whose living standard ranks among the highest in the world, while still taking advantage of an affordable cost of living and tuition fees.

The China International Education Exhibition Tour will visit five cities this year: Beijing, Xi'an in Shaanxi Province, Shanghai, Nanjing in Jiangsu Province and Guangzhou in Guangdong Province. Last year's tour attracted more than 104,000 visitors.
