Treat for vegan fans as Plantopia is back again

VEGAN festivals have been growing in popularity in recent years across the globe, offering fresh ideas for a healthier lifestyle.

If you are looking for a place to go during the three-day May Day holiday break, Plantopia could be the one. The three-day vegan fiesta is back for the second straight year with informative lectures, interactive activities and delicious treats.

Featured lectures will cover a wide range of topics, ranging from vegan lifestyle, balanced nutrition to Zen organizing. For example, vegan cook Karley Ray with Plant-based Daily will offer an insight on the true cost of food.

Nutritionist Kimberly Ashton will give away handy tips on how to find motivation to be a healthy vegetarian.

Classes in taichi, yoga and cooking, along with DIY workshops, will boost the energy and give a hands-on experience.

Places for each class are limited. Remember to secure a spot as soon as you arrive or book online. If you are considering adopting a pet, you may find your ideal “life buddy” here too.

What’s more, the plant-based market will offer all kinds of tasty treats plus the feed for your kitchen cupboard too!

Date: Through May 1

Admission: Free

Venue: Rooftop Garden, Yuexing Furniture Plaza

Address: 5/F, No. 168 Aomen Rd
