Larkham to assist Cheika

AUSTRALIA coach Michael Cheika has added former Wallabies Stephen Larkham and Nathan Grey to his staff for the Rugby World Cup.

Larkham and Grey were unveiled yesterday as assistant coaches and will continue in their roles at their respective Super Rugby clubs — Larkham as head coach of the ACT Brumbies and Grey as defensive coordinator for the defending champions New South Wales Waratahs. Larkham played 102 tests and kicked the winning field goal in the 1999 World Cup semifinal against South Africa before Australia beat France in the final. Grey is also a former Wallaby center and played 35 tests. The 2015 World Cup starts on September 18 in England and Wales.
