Kim storms to victory
South Korea’s Kim Kyung-tae won the Asia-Pacific Diamond Cup Open by three shots yesterday to capture his fourth title of the year. The 29-year-old Kim drained a 10-foot birdie putt on the last hole for a final-round 2-under-par 68 and a winning total of 9-under 271 in the event co-sanctioned by the Asian and Japan golf tours. Japan’s Toshinori Muto (67), who briefly joined Kim in the lead, finished tied for second with his countryman Yuta Ikeda (69).
