Third leg of series

THE third leg of the 2017 Skoda Heros China Cycling Series was held at Pudong’s Dishui Lake yesterday. Jointly organized by the Shanghai Sports Bureau and the Shanghai Cycling Association, the event attracted nearly 450 riders from home and abroad, representing 62 teams in six categories. American Taylor Price won the 45km men’s elite race clocking 1:01:53.704. Jiangsu-based Yuan Jianyan won the 30km women’s race in 52:17.095. The annual cycling series has set nine stops around the country this year. Four are in Shanghai. After the Dishui Lake race, the next two Shanghai events will be in Qingpu District (June) and Shanghai International Circuit (October 2).
