THE final of the 2015 Showgame Cup Card Games Open was held at Shanghai International Gymnastics Center over the weekend. As part of 2015 Shanghai Citizens’ Sports League, the tournament was jointly launched by the Shanghai Chess and Card Games Association and the Changning District Sports Bureau in May, and attracted more than 30,000 participants. Most of the card games were played through the “Showgame” online platform, and the final was held at the gymnastics center in Changning District featuring 128 finalists. Local player Zhang Qi emerged victorious.
