The Party is investigating Jiang Shan, former secretary of the Party Committee of Chuzhou City in Anhui Province, after he was accused of serious disciplinary violations.
According to an initial investigation, he accepted bribes and took advantage of his position to seek benefits for others. He faces a criminal investigation and possible trial. He has been expelled from the Party and removed from public office.
