Landslide toll rises to 13
THIRTEEN people have been confirmed dead in two devastating landslides after a major typhoon lashed east China, with the prospect of the toll rising further as rescue crews continue to search for 20 people still missing. Eight people were confirmed dead in Sucun Village in Zhejiang Provinces after landslides triggered by Typhoon Megi. Nineteen people remain missing, according to local government. The second landslide in Wencheng County killed five people, with one person still missing.
