Qingdao Customs has announced it has dealt with three animal products smuggling cases and seized a batch of items. The seized items include 0.74kg of ivory products, 1kg of pangolin scales and 0.17kg of products made of rhino horn. Three suspects have been detained. Customs officials said the suspects bought the products from Vietnam online. A preliminary investigation shows that the suspects bought the products for collecting and there is no proof showing that they had sold the products for profit. The case is under further investigation.
