Wong tops Shanghai Daily expat poll

WONG Fatt-heng, the head of sub-region 3 of Roche Diagnostics, topped Shanghai Daily’s monthlong vote for the most influential expats in the city which ended on January 16.

The top 10 nominees will receive the 2014 Shanghai International Excellence Award at a ceremony on January 31.

The results can be seen at www.shanghaidaily.com/topnews2014.

Wong, who takes charge of business development and management for Roche Diagnostics in China, polled 861,443 votes, followed by Peggy Liu, chairperson of JUCCCE, with 578,411 votes and Mario Alberich Diaz, a captain at Spring Airlines, with 294,655 votes.

Others in the top 10 included Silvia Kettelhut, a scientific officer at the German Consulate, skateboard coach Bobby Male and Michelle Teopo-Shen, president of the Filipino Community Association in Shanghai.
