Senior official of Shanghai Police College disciplined, investigated for 'serious offenses'

ZHENG Wanxin, the Party Secretary and Deputy President of Shanghai Police College, has been disciplined due to “serious offenses”, Party discipline watchdog in Shanghai announced today.

Investigation showed that Zheng’s offenses were “of abominable nature”, and that he did not refrain even after the Eighteenth National Congress of the Communist Party of China, according to the announcement.

Zheng has been deprived of Party membership and handed over to the law enforcers on suspicion of criminal offenses, it is announced.
