Police seize 20kg of meth from drug traffickers

LOCAL police busted a drug-trafficking gang that operated in Shanghai, Hunan and Zhejiang, seizing 20 kilograms of methamphetamine from them.
Pudong New Area officers said yesterday that they identified the gang leader, surnamed Jin, after they received information during a crackdown on drug traffickers in May. Jin was caught at a checkpoint with drugs he was carrying to sell in Shanghai on October 14. Police found 5 kilograms of meth in his car. His accomplice, surnamed Chen, was caught with 2kg of the same drug. Another two gang members, surnamed Xiang and Tang, were caught from a hotel room, with 13kg of meth seized from them.
