Man held on molesting charges

A MAN has been detained for molesting female passengers on Metro trains.
Metro police received a complaint from a woman on December 18, alleging that she was molested by a man on Line 10 when the train was approaching New Jiangwan Town Station. The woman managed to take a picture of the man through her cellphone.
Police found the man in the picture was the same person who was caught on camera by another woman on Metro Line 8 about 10 days ago.
Police caught him red-handed molesting another women on Line 10 on December 23.
The man, surnamed Jiang, works as an electrician for two companies. He told police that his wife doesn’t work in Shanghai, and he had been stressed by the long working hours.
He said he often sat close to a sleeping or resting woman passenger on a Metro train and touched her.
