Illegal road signs targeted

THE Shanghai Road Administration Bureau said on Friday that it is dismantling illegal road signs around the city.

A total of 2,438 such signs, which were hung up by non-government parties and in most cases for advertising purposes, have been identified, and will have been taken down by the end of this year.
