TOURISTS with a hukou, or a Shanghai residence permit, are able to enjoy free admission to the Dujiangyan scenic spot in Sichuan Province through May 31 — a thank you gesture from locals who are grateful for Shanghai’s help after the 2008 earthquake in Wenchuan in the province.
