Drug addict ‘stole mopeds’

A DRUG addict stole three mopeds from a residential complex in Minhang District to get money to feed his habit and was captured when about to commit a theft again, police said yesterday. The suspect, surnamed Zhang, was linked by surveillance camera footage to thefts between July and December last year. Police monitored the community and spotted Zhang, who they identified from footage. When held, he was found to have a “master key” and tools for forcing locks, said police.
