AIR defense sirens will sound at primary and middle schools today as part of a series of drills to raise pupils’ awareness of the issue, the Shanghai Civil Defense Office said yesterday.
The office said there is no need for residents to be panicked by the alarms. The drills come ahead of the 14th National Defense Education Day.
