Wet, colder weather for week ahead

A wet week is forecast with temperatures dropping from yesterday’s high of 22 degrees Celsius, forecasters said yesterday.

Today and tomorrow are set to be wet, with a sunny respite on Wednesday, said the Shanghai Meteorological Bureau yesterday.

However, more rain is then forecast toward the weekend.

The mercury today will reach 21 degrees, before dropping tomorrow, when the high is expected to be no more than 15 degrees and the low 13 degrees.

For the remainder of the week, the high will be between 15 and 18 degrees, while the low on Wednesday will be down to 10 degrees, said forecasters. The bureau reminded residents to ensure that they are well wrapped up for the chillier mornings and evenings.
