Shanghai flights hit by Beijing problems

MORE than 100 flights between Shanghai and Beijing were canceled or delayed yesterday due to snow affecting takeoff and landing in the capital.
Wintry weather affecting Beijing Capital International Airport since yesterday morning led to massive delays as workers toiled to clear snow from runways and also tackle the problem of ice forming on aircraft.
Air traffic control said yesterday that flight delays were expected to continue throughout this morning.
