Passengers can now check in for Shanghai flights in Wuxi City

Passengers can check in to either of Shanghai’s airports in neighboring Wuxi City from today as the airport authority opened another terminal building outside the city to attract passengers from the Yangtze Delta region.
Passengers in Zhejiang Province can get boarding cards and check in their luggage at the Shanghai Airports Wuxi Terminal Building at Wuxi Bus Station.
The airport authority will transport the passengers by bus to either Hongqiao or Pudong airport for their flights.
Passengers need to arrive to the Wuxi terminal building four hours before takeoff, said Hu Zhihong, deputy director with the Shanghai Airport Authority.
The airports also have a terminal building in neighboring Kunshan City.
