Night train to Beijing

HIGH-SPEED trains will be running from Shanghai to Beijing in the evening for from May 15 after a new timetable for service goes into operation, the city’s railway bureau said yesterday. The daily service will leave the city’s Hongqiao Railway Station at 7pm and arrive at Beijing South Railway Station five hours later. At present, the last train for Beijing leaves the city at 5:39pm.
