POLICE caught 12 people illegally handing out advertising leaflets on Metro trains on Thursday morning during the latest crackdown jointly launched by the Metro operator and Metro police. Police said administrative detention was among the punishments meted out to the suspects. The Metro operator said it encourages passengers to tip off station staffers about the activity.
