It’s time for rain and it’s due to fall
THIS year’s yushui — literally rain water — falls tomorrow.
Traditionally, yushui indicates the beginning of the rainy season — and rainy days around the second solar term are expected for this year’s yushui.
Weather conditions today and tomorrow are expected to echo the tradition, Shanghai Meteorological Bureau said.
Both days will be overcast and cloudy, with intermittent drizzle. Temperatures today are expected to range between 8 and 12 degrees Celsius. Mercury will continue to fall tomorrow, fluctuating between 6 and 12 degrees, forecasters said.
Sunday should be dry, with the temperature expected to range from 6 to 17 degrees.
Monday’s temperature is not expected to top 15 degrees.
