Cool, cloudy and wet this week

THIS week will be cloudy and then wet, forecasters said.

The intermittent downpours that started on Sunday, will end today as a subtropical high gains strength.

Today and tomorrow will be cloudy, with temperatures ranging from 23 to 29 degrees Celsius, according to Shanghai Meteorological Bureau.

Showers may hit the city again tomorrow night under the peripheral influence of Typhoon Talim, which is expected to land in Fujian Province on Thursday.

It will be raining cats and dogs on Thursday and Friday, according to the forecasters. As a result, the high temperature will drop to 26 degrees. The rain may stop on Saturday afternoon.
