Hospital to get new R&D unit

RUIJIN Hospital is planning to open a new biomedical research facility that it hopes will speed up the discovery of new diagnostic tools and treatments. Teams at the “translational” center will focus their research on cancers, cardiovascular diseases and metabolic disorders, officials told a press conference yesterday on the sidelines of the 9th Sino-US symposium on medicine.
