Company complains of ‘AIDS’ attackers
A SHANGHAI company has complained to police after its employees were harangued by people claiming to have AIDS, Shanghai Television reported yesterday.
The company refused to pay a clothing factory about 3 million yuan (US$484,000) for a batch of clothing products, which it said was substandard. The factory then sent people to ask for a payment, several of whom are alleged to have scratched and bitten the company’s workers. The company has since hired guards to protect its staff.
