Collaboration with US hospital

A leading American hospital is collaborating with a Shanghai health group to offer advice and assistance in introducing advanced technology and theory on nursing, patient care services and cancer care.
The collaboration with Jiahui Health, a joint venture health group, is the first of its kind in China for Massachusetts General Hospital.
The collaboration, announced ysterday, will be carried out in Jiahui clinics and its new international hospital, which opens in Xuhui District in August.
Mass General’s president Peter Slavin said it would share experiences on nursing, nursing residency training and bring the latest technology on cancer treatment to China.
Dr David Cook, president of Shanghai Jiahui International Hospital, said that “through the cooperation, Chinese patients will have more access to the clinical trials of new cancer drug in the United States and receive consultation from US experts as well as overseas referrals.”
