Beidi Road tunnel

CONSTRUCTION began yesterday on an underground tunnel beneath the Beidi Road in Changning District. The 1.7-kilometer-long tunnel is expected to ease traffic congestion between the middle and outer ring roads, the city government said on its official microblog account. The statement did not say when the project will be completed.
