University hosts cultural festival targeting international students

INTERNATIONAL students showed their talents Tuesday on a Chinese cultural festival at Donghua University.
Foreign students participated in all kinds of Chinese cultural activities, such as calligraphy， painting and seal cutting.
The university released a book for international students to experience the city’s charm and Chinese culture. It recommends 15 local places worth visiting most and other famous ancient cities in the Yangtze Delta region.
Donghua also established a studio for innovation research and cultural exchanges in cities in the “One Belt, One Road” region. It will invite international students to participate in researches on fashion culture change in the past hundred years and folk cultures in these cities and make contribution to Shanghai’s efforts in building itself into an international fashion capital.
It also announced that it will launch eight senior postgraduate programs next year for foreign students, including spinning, materials, information technology, environment sciences and international business.
