Shanghai Disney to launch extensive recruitment later this month to prepare for opening next year

SHANGHAI Disney Resort will launch an extensive recruitment campaign in the city later this month to prepare for its grand opening in 2016.
The job fairs will be held at the Shanghai Talent Tower in Zhabei District to attract talent from Shanghai and from across China with experience in the tourism and services industry, according to the resort.
The four-day job fair between October 21 and 24 will be the first of several to be held in the city in the coming months.
“We look forward to hiring and training great local talent who will deliver warm hospitality and renowned guest service to help our guests,” said Philippe Gas, general manager of the resort.
The job fair will recruit a large number of local talents for each of the resort’s lines of business, including ride operations, guest services, custodial and cleaning, retail operations, food and beverage operations, engineering & maintenance, security, hotel operations and entertainment.
The first round of the resort’s job fair will welcome pre-registered candidates, who should complete the online application procedure from October 21 to 22 and will open for all candidates the following two days.
Shanghai Disney Resort currently has a team of over 1,500 local cast members and Imagineers working on the development and operation of the resort.
