PROSECUTORS has ratified the arrest of a driver who allegedly broke into a residential complex while being drunk and damaged 17 cars parked there. He would be charged for endangering public safety.

The incident occurred at 1am on October 10 on the Xingnan Road when the driver surnamed Zhang, 28, was severely drunk after he allegedly drank 500 grams of distilled spirit and some beer, prosecutors said.

Zhang said he was too heavily drunk to remember how he got into his semi-trailer, drove the vehicle to ram through the parking wall and rushed to the residential complex.
