Two new Metro Line 16 stations will open on Sunday, extending the line’s northern terminal to Longyang Road.
Huaxia Road M. and Longyang Road stations will open with the later a transfer point for lines 2 and 7, as well as the Maglev.
Meanwhile, Line 13 stations at Longde Road, Wuding Road and Changshou Road will also open on Sunday.
Transportation card users will not be charged extra for leaving any of the stations when transferring to another line. However, ticket holders need to pick up an “urgent transfer receipt” from Metro staff before leaving the station.
