Cargo plane lands at Pudong airport despite undercarriage malfunction

A cargo plane's undercarriage malfunctioned when it landed at Shanghai Pudong International Airport this morning.

The Boeing 747-400 belonging to China Cargo Airlines was landing at 1:51am when its back right undercarriage encountered a mechanical problem, according to the airport.

A witness posted a picture online showing what appeared to be a half-deployed and partially broken undercarriage.

The airport said the plane's fuselage leaned to one side as it was taxiing along runway No. 2 after landing.

The incident did not cause any flight delays and no one was injured.
