Kempinski shines with great facilities and service

STYLISH and sophisticated with a classic design, Kempinski Hotel Suzhou magnificently emerges before your very eyes after a large scenic drive within a large estate which encompasses the 27-hole Jinjin Lake International Golf Course, villas and Dushu Lake.

“The entire surroundings of this property are refreshingly lush with trees and picturesque landscaping providing an atmosphere of tranquility and peace,” says Gerhard Bosse, the hotel’s general manager.

Spread over 8,000 square meters in Suzhou Industrial Park, it is considered one of the leading MICE hotels in east China with meeting capacity for up to 3,000 guests.

For potential MICE guests, the hotel has outstanding banquet facilities, including a pillar-less 1,850-square-meter Grand Ballroom with 15-meter-high ceiling, plus a pillar-less 630-square-meter State Ballroom with 8-meter-high ceiling.

In addition, the hotel offers 10 other meeting rooms with a capacity for between 20 and 200 guests.

The business amenities feature an extensive array of equipment including LED backdrops and high-speed Internet services. All public areas have complimentary wifi. Plus slide projectors, laser printers and a variety of secretarial services are available.

Apart from this, the professional conference service team is committed to providing exceptional service to ensure all events are a great success.

“Employee training is one of the most important things in management,” the general manager says.

The service team provides everything from ticket bookings to airport transfer arrangements.

“Continuous training also keeps your employees on the cutting edge of industry developments,” Gerhard Bosse adds. “Employees who are competent and on top of changing industry standards help your company hold a position as a leader and strong competitor within the industry. Employees who feel appreciated and challenged through training opportunities will feel more satisfaction toward their work.”

The three restaurants in the hotel, including one international, one Chinese and one German, offer a combined seating space for up to 1,000 guests per meal period.

“This is excluding the outdoor park where we can arrange, subject to weather conditions, anything from a lunch buffet to a barbecue candlelight dinner for up to 800 guests,” the general manager says.

For weekend leisure guests, the hotel has a marvelous lakeside garden that encourages guests to step out and appreciate the green scenery and enjoy the refreshing lake breeze.

Apart from this, the 50-meter Olympic-size indoor heated swimming pool and the new family entertainment and education program are highlights as well.

Right next door is a 27-hole golf course, managed by IMG.
