Courtyard party gives taste of Tang Dynasty

THE long-awaited Marriott “Catch Me” party was held at the Courtyard by Marriott Shanghai Pudong on March 26. The party was organized by the four Courtyard hotels in Shanghai — Courtyard by Marriott Shanghai Pudong, Courtyard by Marriott Shanghai Xujiahui, Courtyard by Marriott Shanghai Puxi, and Courtyard by Marriott Shanghai Jiading.
The Courtyard “Catch Me” theme was “Time Travel to the Tang Dynasty” and gave revelers a glimpse of a street layout from the dynasty that ruled from AD 618–907. Partygoers dressed in Tang-style costumes and enjoyed fun and relaxing games. And there was even a chance to be crowned the zhuangyuan (No. 1 in the imperial examination) of Courtyard.
Courtyard’s new slogan is “Make room for a little fun,” and at the “Catch Me” party there was more than a little fun — plus a glimpse of life in the Tang Dynasty.
