Pop meets Chinese performance

IN collaboration with Broadway Asia and an international team of acclaimed and award-winning artists, China Performing Arts Agency presents “China Goes Pop,” also known as “For Love,” a show that brings together some of the most entertaining elements of Chinese performance.
What makes “China Goes Pop” unique is its blend of acrobatics, shadow puppetry, physical comedy, martial arts and Chinese Opera with pop art and pop music.
This eye-popping show tells a love story in classic Broadway-style: An artist finds the love of his life and his muse. When his proposal to her is rejected, the story goes back to the beginning so we can witness their relationship from the first date until a final re-proposal.
The talented, world-class cast tells the story with traditional Chinese art forms which are presented in a fresh, contemporary fashion. With stunning costumes, a set with myriad possibilities that are literally built into the structure and video projections that create awesome visual effects, the show is a highly entertaining spectacle.
