AArt fair kicks off this weekend
THE sixth edition of AArt kicks off this weekend at Twelve at Hengshan, a Luxury Collection Hotel.
Close to 2,000 artworks from 40 galleries and art institutions around the world will be on display — from Europe, the United States, and Australia to Russia and South Korea.
This year, AArt highlights the power of cooperation and the integration of cross-border resources.
“One Bamboo One World,” jointly curated by Jin Jiangbo, Zhang Lili and He Genxiang, uses the language of art to explore the traditional craft of bamboo-making and concepts of environmental protection and the protection of intangible cultural heritage.
A “phone photography” exhibition takes an artistic approach to what has become an everyday phenomenon — the smartphone photo.
Curated by senior photographer and art critic Xu Mingsong with Li Zhe, Ni Zhiqi, Shen Haopeng, Wang Yin, Wu Lintian and Xu Jinquan, this exhibition may well inspire smartphone users to new artistic heights.
