Service for the betterment of world

SERVICE is all about contributing to working for the needs of our society. Our focus as Service Prefects is to make service accessible to everyone and I’m proud that we were able to dedicate November as Service Month. We were committed to exploring various service organizations and CCAs that the Dulwich College Shanghai Senior School has to offer, thereby encouraging students of all ages to participate in regular service activities.

We were also happy to widely expand our provision of Service CCAs in the Senior School. It is great to see many exciting new initiatives taking place with more students signed up to serve their community and their world.

A highlight of the term was the UN Day collaboration activities which combined various year groups in Senior School, as well as connecting with Year 1 and Year 2 DUCKS children. The aim was to learn more about the UN goals through interactive activities, while making new friends. We had lots of fun, and we learnt a great deal too. We hope to develop our thinking about the wider world from a young age, and inspire many minds along the way.
