Orchestra inspires budding pianist

Concert day came, and everybody seemed to be acting very serious and focused. I practiced until I was satisfied with my performance.

I heard the orchestra rehearsing on concert day, and I wondered if they really needed to practice since they made the closest thing to “perfect music” I have ever heard. Time was getting closer, and within the blink of an eye, 120 people were in front us. Now I suppose that this was the “music” you should hear before you die because believe me, it was better than the best. The choir sounded like actual angels singing right at you.

The rock band performed so well they rocked the classical music out of the audience! There were two other pianists who played solos like me. Mary was gorgeous at her piece, Maneh sounded so much like the actual Rachmaninoff playing, and I, for once, was satisfied with my performance! From the beginning to the end of the performance, there were no mistakes. Afterwards, all the emotions suddenly burst up and I had to fight back tears. The Global Orchestra was one, and we all loved one thing: music. Before going to the Global Orchestra, I was standing on the edge of the cliff, uncertain about being a musician. Then, the Global Orchestra made me certain. And I realized that I only have one thing that I really love and want to be: a pianist. This one week has given me so much, and I guess this is the biggest gift you can ever ask for.
