Going all out for a smooth college entrance exam
A TOTAL of 2,475 high school seniors in Songjiang District participated in the 2021 National College Entrance Examination from June 7 to 9.
Students, wearing face masks, had their temperatures checked at Songjiang No. 2 High School. Those with abnormal body temperatures were taken to a special examination room.
Ni Zijun, a police officer from the Yongfeng Community police station, received a call from a parent on June 7, who said his son had left his admission ticket home. The parent was asking if Ni could help him fetch the ticket from home.
Ni immediately set out. He picked up the parent who was waiting on Canghui Road. Ni also used the siren to speed up the journey. At 8:05am Ni and the parent successfully passed the admission ticket to the student.
To ensure food security, officials from the market supervising bureau of Zhongshan Community did a thorough check of food and beverage stores around the school.
They checked store hygiene, kitchen conditions and the health of staff.
To ensure a smooth electricity supply, engineers from the Songjiang Electric Power Co patrolled the five testing sites in the district a week earlier. They checked the aerial lines, school power rooms, classroom illumination circuits and air conditioning circuits.
