The exhibition, which will run through July, showcases 40 photos of stunning nightscapes set against celestial attractions.

They show features images such as the Comet Hale-Bopp passing over the pyramids, the aurora borealis over Iceland and the Milky Way over Yellowstone National Park in the US.

Visitors can see a total solar eclipse, shot in 2006 by photographer Tunc Tezel in Turkey.

Chinese photographer Kong Guocai’s “Star Trail of Liupan Mountain” is also on display. In the picture, a car light merges with a star trail, creating a magnificent view linking earth and the universe.
