Photographers zoom in on local life in Putuo

A group of foreign photographers toured Mengqing Theme Park and M50 Creative Park in Putuo District on September 10 and 11. They are from Associated Press, AFP, JoongAng Ilbo of South Korea and a Russian newspaper, including two Pulitzer Prize winners and several World Press Photo prize winners.
Mengqing Theme Park stretches along the Suzhou Creek between Changhua Road and Jiangning Road. It has beautiful pavilions and waterside terraces. The photographers snapped pictures of the scenery and a community chorus doing a rehearsal there.
M50 Creative Park on the south bank of the Suzhou Creek is home to many art studios, galleries, fine arts education facilities and a variety of creative enterprises. The foreign press photographers also took a lot pictures there, including outdoor installations and graffiti-covered walls.
