JIANGQIAO Town now has a Robot Cloud Service system.
With interactive services, a 1.5-meter robot works as a guide at community service center, offering consulting services on social insurance, medical care, social assistance and another 190 service items and has a speech recognition system.
Before going to the service center, residents can consult the robot via a website. When they go to the center, they just need to ask their question and it will respond.
The Jiangqiao community service center handles over 350 cases per day, one third of which are consultations.
The robot helps to save the time of the residents and eases the burden of staff.
The authority is planning to install the robot system in other communities and villages step by step.
