Original music at festival

THIS year’s West Lake Music Festival will team up with the Simple Life Festival in Shanghai and bring original music, energy and fun to fans in the scenic Taiziwan Park.
“The West Lake Music Festival is a major event in Hangzhou and entertains the audience with great music and beautiful scenery,” said Jeff Chia, producer of Simple Life Festival.
Chia is known as “the godfather of pop” in Taiwan. He is devoted to grooming independent musicians and providing a platform for original music. He shares the same ideas as the organizer of the West Lake Music Festival. The first West Lake Music Festival was held in 2006 by the city government to add to the charm to the tourist city known for its natural beauty, cultural heritages and trendy lifestyle.
The details of this year’s festival are not yet available, the organizer said.
