Heritage pavilion

AN intangible cultural heritage pavilion established by a neighborhood committee was opened to the public last week.

The pavilion, created by the Wulin Neighbourhood Committee, highlights Wulin Street’s unique history and culture, including its old stores, time-honored brands and craft traditions. Among locals, the street is known for the Zhang Tongtai Pharmacy and the former residences of Lu You, Ma Yinchu and Sha Menghai.

Visitors to the pavilion can not only learn about the street’s history, but also make crafts with local artisans.
