CES Asia features amazing technology

VIRTUAL reality, the Internet of Things and artificial intelligence will be the spotlights at the CES Asia 2016 exhibition, the Asian version of the world’s biggest consumer electronics fair.

Huawei, Alibaba, Intel and China Mobile are among the exhibitors displaying their latest technologies at the show, which ends tomorrow.

Qihoo 360, China’s biggest online security firm, launched smart devices including web camera, automobile data recorder and watch designed for kids during the CES Asia show. The devices feature facial recognition, machine learning and data analysis.

China Mobile, the world’s biggest mobile carrier, said it will expand in the Internet of Things after attracting 20 million IOT users.

Twitter and LeEco announced a tie-up during the fair to grow LeEco’s global influence through Twitter’s live communications platform.

Twitter, still inaccessible on China’s mainland, expects advertising income to grow from Chinese firms, said Aliza Knox, Twitter’s managing director for online sales in Asia-Pacific and Latin America.
